It is with great pleasure that we invite you to the next Mobile Monday Yangon, on 29th September 2014.
Mobile Monday is a global event that started in Helsinki, which has since spread around the world. Yangon will be the latest city to feature one. It is an informal monthly event which enables mobile industry visionaries, developers, and influential individuals to share ideas and collaborate. Since April 2014, we have been hosting Mobile Monday one Monday per month, bringing together experts and enthusiasts alike to explore themes of topical interest to those of us in the mobile industry and other related fields.
This month, we welcome two veterans of the tech community in Yangon, Ko Thar Htet and Ko Ravi. They’ll be no stranger to you if you have been interested in or involved with technology in Myanmar. Sorry that we could not bring you Silicon Straits. But we are making one another big event with Silicon Straits. We will invite you too for it.
Ko Ravi has been intimately involved in the community for the past decade, by being an organizer of BarCamp Yangon, founder of DevSpace and all around nice guy. He will be talking about tech in Myanmar as he sees it, over the years: what’s changed and what hasn’t. Ko Thar Htet, founder of Zwenex, will discuss some of the challenges you can expect to face as a tech entrepreneur in Myanmar.Join us at September’s Mobile Monday and hear about Myanmar’s tech, past, present and future, for yourself.
